6 x 2.5 ml Water Make-up Palette Matte, Grimas

Grimas Water Make-up Pure face- and bodypaint is an unperfumed, gluten-free, water-based make-up, intended for face-painting and body-painting.

Water Make-up works just like watercolour paint. The colours can be mixed together and applied with a brush or a sponge, and even on hair too.

Pure means that the product in question does not contain any chemical preservatives (such as parabens) or halogenated organic compounds.

Water Make-up Pure can be applied directly onto clean, non-greasy skin – the paint sticks better and longer to the cleaned skin. Use a brush or a sponge and with some water, pick up the color soft and creamy. Do not work too dry, or too wet. The Water Make-up Pure dries within 15 seconds, apply if needed a second layer.

To remove, lightly wash the skin with lukewarm water and soap (or shampoo). Massage it in briefly, then rinse off – scrubbing too much could irritate the skin.

Do not use Afschmink, as it contains waxes and oils which actually adhere the Water Make-up to the skin. Do not use ready-to-use cleansing cloths (facial cloths, baby cloths, moisturized cloths etc...). If any trace of color is left on the skin, it can be removed with Grimas Cleansing Lotion. If the skin feels dry after cleaning, you can apply Grimas Skincare cream.

In case Water Make-up gets onto clothing, rinse out, then soak in a pre-wash, then wash it with hands or in a washing machine.

PRO Tips:

Before applying Water Make-up Pure first apply a layer of Grimas Cake Make-up – it allows the colors of the paint to be applied more evenly and more vividly, and makes them easier to remove later. Cake Make-up dries quickly and does not mix with the face-and bodypaint colors.

Water Make-up Pure can be applied to hair, as long as it has not been treated (dye, bleach, henna etc...), it can be washed out with shampoo. 

Cleaning the Water Make-up after use: wipe the surface with dry and clean tissue, let it dry out in the air – store it in a dry and cool place until next time you use it.

Disposable sponges can be thrown away after use, or if you want to reuse them rinse off with soapy water (or shampoo) or wash them in the washing machine in a net bag, at least on 60°C.

To clean brushes use soapy water (or shampoo), shape back the bristles, dry brushes lying flat on a towel (not upright - so the moisture does not run into the shaft and dissolve the glue of the bristles).
